A focused session that gets AI working for your business
Most teams know AI could help. The part that never happens is setting it up properly and building the habit. This session fixes that. In two hours, onsite with your team, we cover how to think about AI, how to use it safely, and how to get real work done with it. It is hands-on and built around tasks from your actual business, not toy examples.
By the end of the session, Claude is installed on your team's machines, connected to the tools you already use, configured for how your business works, and your people have used it on real work. That is the difference between a talk about AI and a team that uses it.
By the end of the session
- Claude is installed on your team's machines, ready to use
- Connected to the tools you already use so it works across your real data
- Configured for how your business works rather than a generic setup
- Your people have used it on real work and know what to do next
Built for beginners, useful for everyone
This is designed for complete beginners. No prior AI experience is required, just a willingness to try. It suits whole teams: owners, managers, and the people who do the day-to-day work in finance, operations, admin, sales, and client service. If your team already dabbles with AI, the session sharpens how they prompt, connect it to your data, and turn it into repeatable workflows.

The agenda
What we cover
This is the Claude Foundations outline. ChatGPT Foundations follows the same shape with ChatGPT in place of Claude, and Power Users adds the final block.
-
1
AI foundations
How to think about AI: treat it like a capable new starter, brief it well, delegate outcomes, and always verify. The AI landscape, what a "token" is, and why it matters for cost and limits.
-
2
Using AI responsibly
Where AI helps and where it bites. AI can be wrong and states it with confidence, so you stay responsible. What to put in, and what to keep out. We provide an AI Acceptable Use Policy template your business can adopt.
-
3
Prompting that works
A prompt is a brief: context, goal, role, task, constraints. Getting better answers by iterating, validating, and asking the AI to improve your prompt.
-
4
Claude essentials Hands-on activity
What Claude is, when to use each model, usage limits, and the everyday workspace. Projects to give Claude a memory, and Instructions to set the rules once.
-
5
Connected Claude
Connecting Claude to the tools you already run, such as Microsoft 365, so it can work across your email, calendar, Teams, and documents, and answer questions against your real data.
-
6
Power-user tools Hands-on activity
Cowork to delegate whole tasks, Artifacts to build working tools without code, and scheduled tasks that run on repeat.
-
7
Making it a team habit
How to build momentum: explore, use it on real work, share wins, and regroup. The small experiments that turn into a confident, AI-capable team.
Power Users third hour adds
Building your own Skills, Claude Design for visual work, deeper automation with scheduled tasks and connectors, and a practical rollout and AI policy plan for your team.

Before you train
Claude Pro, Team, or Enterprise: which one you need
Before training, your team needs the right Claude plan. The plan you choose changes one thing that matters most to a business: whether your data is ever used to train the model. Here is the plain-English version. For a team of five or more, we recommend starting on Team, and we help you set it up.
| Pro | Team | Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | One person | Teams of 5 to 150 | Larger or regulated organisations |
| Uses your data for training | Only if you leave it switched on | No, off by default | No, off by default |
| Admin and sign-in | Personal account | Central billing, single sign-on | SSO, user provisioning, audit logs |
| Guide price | About US$17 to 20 per month | About US$20 to 25 per seat per month | Custom, usually 20-plus seats |
Start with Team
For most small businesses, Team is the right starting point. Your content is never used for training, it is off by default, and you get central admin and single sign-on for a few dollars more per seat.
Regulated or larger?
Enterprise adds the controls bigger or compliance-bound organisations need, including single sign-on, user provisioning, and audit logs.
Claude does not train on your business data on Team, Enterprise, or the API. First-party Claude stores data in the United States. If your data must stay onshore in Australia, there are options through Australian cloud regions, and we can walk you through them.
Plan names and prices are Anthropic's and change often. Confirm the current details at claude.com/pricing. This is general information, not legal or compliance advice.
Separate service
Want it set up for you?
Training gets your team using AI. If you would rather we handle the setup as well, we offer a fixed-price setup for Claude or ChatGPT. We install the app, sign your team in, connect the tools you already run, and configure it for how your business works. Up to one hour is included.
You keep your subscription directly with the provider: Anthropic for Claude, or OpenAI for ChatGPT. We handle the setup and the training, the licence stays in your name.
Your IT partner, not a one-off trainer
Lucente is an Australian-owned, Perth-headquartered managed IT provider built for small and medium business. We already know the tools you run and the way you work, so the training fits your business rather than a generic syllabus. After the session we are still here: for an AI policy, a permissions check before you switch on Copilot, or help building AI into a specific workflow.
ADVISE. ENABLE. SUPPORT.
Common questions
Does our team need any AI experience?
No. The session is designed for complete beginners. We start from the basics and build up, so everyone can follow along on their own laptop.
How many people can attend?
The price covers up to five people, which works well because everyone gets hands-on time. We can run it for larger groups, just ask for a quote.
Can you run it onsite, or does it have to be online?
Both. We prefer to come to your office so it is properly hands-on, but we can deliver it live over Microsoft Teams if that suits you better.
How long is the session?
Foundations runs for two hours. Claude Power Users runs for three.
Do participants get a certificate?
Yes. Every participant receives a certificate of completion, and the session counts as professional development: two CPD hours for Foundations, three for Power Users.
Should we train on Claude or ChatGPT?
We deliver both. For most business work we recommend Claude, but if your team has standardised on ChatGPT we will train on that. Happy to talk it through.
Do we need subscriptions in place first?
Your team needs licensed, accessible AI tools for the hands-on parts. We can help you choose the right Claude plan and set it up beforehand.
Is our business data safe?
On Claude Team and Enterprise your content is not used to train the model. We cover responsible use in the session and give you an AI Acceptable Use Policy template to put guardrails in place.
Can the session be tailored to our business?
Yes. We do light tailoring beforehand and build the hands-on activities around real, non-sensitive tasks from your business, so your team can apply it straight away.
What happens after the session?
You get up to one hour of team follow-up in the two weeks after. From there we can help with an AI policy, the done-for-you setup, or building AI into a specific workflow whenever you are ready.
Do you travel?
Perth metro travel is included. We cover regional Western Australia too, with travel quoted separately.
Ready to get your team using AI?
Talk to us about a date. We will recommend the right session and the right plan, and have your team using AI properly in a single sitting.
