In two hours we cover how AI works, how to use it safely and how to write a good prompt, then the team puts it to use.
It is built for beginners, and no AI experience is needed. It suits whole teams: owners, managers and the people who do the day-to-day work in finance, operations, admin, sales and client service. If your team already uses AI, the session sharpens how they prompt and how they turn good prompts into repeatable work.

An AI Acceptable Use Policy your team can adopt
Every session includes our AI Acceptable Use Policy template, a plain-English policy sized for a small business that you put your own name on. It lists approved tools, what stays out of AI, and who to ask.

Common questions
Does our team need any AI experience?
No. The session is built for beginners. We start from the basics, and everyone follows along on their own laptop.
How many people can attend?
The price covers up to six people, so everyone gets hands-on time. We can run it for larger groups on a quote.
Can you run it onsite, or does it have to be online?
Both. We prefer to come to your office in Perth because hands-on work goes better in the room, and we can deliver it live over Microsoft Teams.
How long is the session?
Foundations runs for two hours. Adding the Claude Power User hour makes it three.
Do participants get a certificate?
Yes. Every participant receives a certificate of completion. It can count as self-directed CPD where your professional body allows it.
Should we train on Claude or ChatGPT?
We deliver both. For most business work we recommend Claude. If your team has standardised on ChatGPT, we train on that.
Will Claude be installed and set up for us?
Only if you add setup (+$600, up to an hour). We install and configure Claude or ChatGPT for your team, and the subscription stays in your name with Anthropic or OpenAI. Without it, your team brings its own licensed accounts.
What should we have ready on the day?
Licensed, working accounts for the AI tool your team will use (or add the setup option), a room with a screen, and a few people who do real work in the business.
Which Claude plan do we need?
For a team of five or more we usually recommend Claude Team, which adds central billing and admin. Plans and prices change often, so check claude.com/pricing, and we can help you choose before the session.
Where is our data stored, and is it used for training?
It depends on the tool and the plan. On the business plans of both Claude and ChatGPT, your content isn't used to train their models by default. Where data is stored also varies by plan, and we advise on the right option for your business.
Is our business data safe?
We cover safe use in the session, including what to keep out of AI tools, and you leave with the AI Acceptable Use Policy template to put guardrails in place.
What is the AI Acceptable Use Policy template?
A plain-English AI policy you take home from every session. It sets out approved tools, what must never go into AI, how to check and disclose AI use, and a permissions check before you connect AI to Microsoft 365. It is sized for a small business and written with the Privacy Act in mind. It is operational guidance. It is not legal advice.
Can the session be tailored to our business?
Yes. Every team gets the same core curriculum. Before the day we learn how your team works and what you want from AI, then build the demonstrations, examples and hands-on tasks around real work from your business.
Is the session private to our team?
Yes. It is only ever your team and your trainer, so the conversation can be about how your business runs. We do coach one rule: keep sensitive data out of the AI tools during the hands-on work.
What happens after the session?
You get up to one hour of team follow-up in the two weeks after. If you're a Lucente managed IT customer, AI Enablement can take the work further, such as a Copilot pilot or automating a workflow.
Do you travel?
Perth metro travel is included. We cover regional Western Australia too, with travel quoted separately.
